There are lots of types of contraception available. Some contraceptive methods like the pill, a patch and the ring need you to think about your chosen method every day or each time you have sex.
Others like an implant, depo injection or coil are known as Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) – they are very popular because you don’t have to think about them. Some have hormones and some do not – they are just there.
